Personality:
Perhaps Hasebe's dominant trait is his intense dedication. Whether it's to a task or, more commonly, to his master, he moves and works to get the job done. A sword of Oda Nobunaga, he had little choice but to be fierce and headstrong in combat. Though he had his concerns about Oda, his devotion to the saniwa who summoned him is near absolute. While in combat, he is serious and forward facing. While out of it, he still shows a dedication to do not only as he's told and tasked, but to do it right.
His strength lies in both this and physical prowess. Though not the most powerful of the swords, he is sturdy and steadfast, fighting with earnest dedication to the task. He is a leader (oftentimes too much so, to the point of, well, being humored) and will show himself on the front lines with enthusiasm and seriousness of purpose.
In relation to others, while Hasebe can sometimes seem like a lone wolf, solitary in his actions toward his master and their cause, he cares for the well-being of others. That's not to say he routinely puts all others before himself, but he does make an effort to lead when given the chance. He will watch out for those under his command and see them back safely whenever possible. He's not afraid to make small sacrifices, up to and including himself. Large sacrifices are duty, but he chooses to follow those who would lead him into a path that could be dangerous. In certain contexts, he will care to the point of almost fussing, though this is rare and ultimately slightly self-serving.
On a basic level, Hasebe is one who seeks to be in service of a singular master who will use his skills to the fullest and allow him to be of great importance. That's not to say he's completely conceited about it, but rather that he wishes to be at a certain pinnacle of both ability and usefulness. He is proud, but not overly so, confident without vanity. His devotion drives him more than his own internal motives.
Abilities and Nerfs: He's a sword and does swordly things. Like cutting.
Inventory: Clothing with armor. Sword if possible.
Five Desires: A good master to serve, security for anyone he cares about, better cooking skills.
